ME vs ME
Exhibiting Forgiveness is a powerful and deeply personal film that explores the difficult journey of healing between a successful artist and his estranged father. Directed by acclaimed visual artist Titus Kaphar and starring André Holland, the film blends visual art and storytelling to examine themes of memory, trauma, and the complex process of forgiveness. The story unfolds with emotional depth, revealing how confronting the past can shape the path toward healing. I had the opportunity to appear in a small role in the film, and it was an honor to be part of a project that approaches such meaningful themes with honesty, artistry, and heart.
A hidden trivia gem from Joker: Folie à Deux comes from one of the courtroom scenes. There was originally no case number written in the script. During filming, when I was asked by the judge to call out the case, director Todd Phillips would call “cut.” I asked if I could improvise the moment, and he agreed. Since I needed a number that would be easy to remember, I decided to use my birthday as the case number. It’s a small detail most viewers will never notice, but it became a fun personal Easter egg hidden in the film, one of those little behind-the-scenes moments that made the experience special, especially sharing the scene with the judge played by Bill Smitrovich (Judge Herman Rothwax). something exciting your business offers?
